The Girls Participation and Development Programme was successfully launched in 2014 and has grown each subsequent season. The programme featured; girls only Primary School League & All-Star game, girls only Middle School League & All- Star game, girls only teams in BCB Youth Leagues, fast-track academy development for 28 girls year round, an avenue for scholarship to UK boarding schools; and a free accessible ‘after-school’ girls cricket program for girls aged 8-14.

The BCB provides a comprehensive youth development programme that uses the sport of cricket to improve the mental and physical health of Bermuda’s youth by engaging their bodies and minds and providing them with discipline in a fun safe environment.

In 2018 the BCB successfully secured major scholarships for two Axis Angel graduates; Brianna Ray and Rose Simmons.
