The Bermuda Cricket Board is committed to using cricket as a vehicle for positive youth development. Our programs are designed to build resilience, self-esteem, confidence, teamwork, leadership, and essential social skills while providing young people with positive role models and mentors outside of school. We also promote healthy living and life skills that help young people make positive choices both on and off the field.
Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and supporters, many of our Youth Development Programmes are offered free of charge to girls and boys aged 5–18, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to participate regardless of their financial circumstances.
As Bermuda continues to face concerns surrounding youth violence, drug abuse, and gang involvement, the BCB has strengthened the life-skills component of all its cricket programmes. Our player pathway provides opportunities for young people to develop from the age of five through to senior and national-level cricket, while creating a positive, structured environment that helps divert at-risk youth from crime and anti-social behaviour.
Every donation directly supports these programmes, helping us create opportunities for young people, strengthen our communities, and continue growing the game of cricket throughout Bermuda.
